When hiring talent for my team, we ensure that women are adequately represented. This has been instrumental in building a diverse in-house legal team which supports the personal and professional goals/growth of its female members.

Can you share an example of a legal challenge you've faced in your in-house role that specifically related to women's issues, and how you addressed it?

My team and I regularly deal with the above-mentioned challenges. However, our approach to addressing them has always been to propose solutions that drive our the interests of women and other groups.

What initiatives or policies have you implemented or advocated for within your organization to support work-life balance for female lawyers?

I highly value my teammates' personal time, so I refrain from reaching out to them for work-related issues during their off-hours unless absolutely necessary. Furthermore, I ensure that tasks are distributed among the team fairly and equitably. This ensures that nobody feels overwhelmed and everyone can maintain a healthy balance between work and

personal life.

How do you balance legal responsibilities with the need to address social and ethical issues, particularly those related to women, within a corporate setting?

I do this by being conscious of such issues in my work particularly because people are becoming more conscious of the organizations they patronize. They are now interested in

the values and societal impact of the organizations they purchase products or procure services from.

Consequently, it is in every organization’s interest to be mindful of how their customers.
